The black bralette has quietly become one of the most useful pieces in a modern wardrobe, and we think it deserves more credit than it gets. Not as an afterthought worn only under things, but as an actual top. Worn with high waisted trousers, layered under a blazer with the straps showing, or paired with a linen suit when the weather makes anything more feel unreasonable. The case for wearing it properly is a strong one.
