Some nights actually deserve the full effort and sequins are the only honest response to them. Not every occasion calls for this level of commitment, but when it does, there is nothing else in a wardrobe that competes. Sequins move differently under light. They catch it, throw it back, make an entrance out of simply walking into a room. We take that seriously.

What we have pulled together here are the sequin dresses we genuinely want to wear rather than just admire. The cuts that flatter properly. The colours that do something interesting beyond the obvious gold and silver, though we have not ignored those either because a great gold sequin dress is a genuinely thrilling thing. We have also been selective about quality because cheap sequins shed, snag, and look tired by midnight. None of these do.

These are dresses for New Year’s Eve, for milestone birthdays, for weddings where you are absolutely not the bride and can therefore wear whatever you like. For any night where dressing well is a form of showing up properly.
