Issey Miyake Maxi skirt

1995 spring summer Issey Miyake skirt that was on the runway when Issey Miyake himself was creating for his own brand. (Shown on the runway model on the last pic) It is a very rare and in beautiful condition skirt. This dress skirt, made with Issey Miyake’s signature pleats and a lustrous, thick fabric, features a long design emphasizing the pleats. The standout features of this product include a large belt loop at the waist and deep slits. Different glossy materials are used in contrasting sections of the skirt, adding a unique design element. The waist section allows for various styling options by threading a belt through, such as adjusting to a high waist, widening, folding, etc. Additionally, with an elastic waistband, shifting the slit to the front, back, or side can bring different vibes to the outfit.
